The regional household hazardous waste collection day will be held on Saturday October 13, 2012 at Middlesex Community College for residents of Cromwell, Durham, East Hampton, Middlefield, Middletown, and Portland. Items that will be accepted and additional information regarding this program can be viewed in the collection day flyer. POWDER RIDGE The Town of Middlefield is soliciting the qualifications and bid proposal for a firm to either purchase the Town-owned Powder Ridge Ski Area and operate it as a public ski area, or to lease the Powder Ridge Ski Area and undertake the same public operation. An optional pre-proposal site inspection and meeting will be held on Friday May 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday May 16, 2009. at 10:00 a.m. at the ski area at 99 Powder Hill Road in Middlefield. Proposals must be submitted to the Town Clerk, Town Administration Office, 393 Jackson Hill Road, Middlefield, Connecticut, no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2009. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILLNOT BE CONSIDERED. |
