The Town of Middlefield is soliciting the qualifications and bid proposal for a firm to either purchase the Town-owned Powder Ridge Ski Area and operate it as a public ski area, or to lease the Powder Ridge Ski Area and undertake the same public operation. An optional pre-proposal site inspection and meeting will be held on Friday May 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday May 16, 2009. at 10:00 a.m. at the ski area at 99 Powder Hill Road in Middlefield. Proposals must be submitted to the Town Clerk, Town Administration Office, 393 Jackson Hill Road, Middlefield, Connecticut, no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2009. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILLNOT BE CONSIDERED.

NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM 2

The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Developement is seeking public comment on the Connecticut Consortium's draft application for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP2) funding under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) of 2009.   The public comment period runs from June 22, 2009 through July 2, 2009.   All state residents are encouraged to submit comments.
